I’m still in search of a good word for the act of photography. ‘Taking photos’ sounds as little thieving, and ‘making photos’ is at least a little bit pretentious. I now have a landing full of weaving material, thanks to a bountiful trip into the Mary Valley. Banana fibre, cat’s claw creeper and some other weed vines are mounded up ready for making stuff this week. The car trip home smelt so good, and this week feels full of possibility.
